Business Photography & Video

You can do everything else right and still lose the job because the photos look like they came off a stock library. People are deciding whether to trust you with their home, their car or their haircut. What the place actually looks like matters.

What’s included

What you actually get.

  • Your premises

The shop, the salon, the workshop, the van. The real thing, shot so it looks like its best day.

  • Your team

Faces make a business feel like people rather than a phone number. Even one good photo of you changes how the site reads.

  • Your work

Finished jobs, products, before and afters. The proof that sits under everything else you claim.

  • Sized for everywhere

Website, Google listing, socials — all cropped and compressed properly so they look sharp without slowing the site down.

  • Short video if you want it

A thirty-second walkthrough or intro clip. Google listings with video get noticeably more engagement.

Why stock photos cost you work

People recognise stock images now, even if they couldn’t say why. A smiling stranger in a spotless kitchen that obviously isn’t in this country reads as a business hiding something — or one too small to have taken a photo of itself.

The gap between a real photo of a modest workshop and a perfect stock photo of somebody else’s isn’t about quality. It’s about whether anyone believes you.

What a shoot looks like

Usually a couple of hours on site. I’ll tell you beforehand what’s worth tidying, and I’ll work around you if you’re trading. You get the edited images back within a few days, in the sizes you need for the website and the Google listing.

Where they end up

The website, obviously. But the Google listing matters just as much — photos are one of the things that separates a listing people tap from one they scroll past, and it’s the cheapest advantage available to most local businesses.

Questions

About this service.

No. Most shoots happen around normal trading. If anything, a bit of genuine activity in the background makes the photos better.

Most people do. We can keep you out of it entirely and focus on the premises and the work — though one decent photo of the owner usually earns its place.

Yes, outright. Use them anywhere you like, forever.

Want to know if this is what you need?

The free presence check tells you which two or three things are actually worth doing for your business. Sometimes this service isn’t one of them, and I’ll say so.
